Reviews1 CommentScottish synth pop trio CHVRCHES might have some really hot singles, but the rest of their debut album is a little hit or miss for me.

Oh, yeah, and FUTURE CUBES!
CHVRCHES - "Recover"
New Tracks5 CommentsI don't know why there is a "v" instead of a "u" in this group's name, but I do know that they are making some compelling electronic pop if this track is anything to go by.
To begin with the production here definitely shines, it has a very full sound to it with a great synth hook on top of it. When the bass starts humming the song really comes together though, making it sound rich and warm on top of all of that. The vocals are not out shined here, singer Lauren Mayberry has a very unique voice that still manages to stand on its own with this production where I feel like a lot of other singers would falter.
CHVRCHES' new Recover EP will be dropping next month via Virgin Records.
