Lianne La Havas- "Forget"

Check out this music video from English singer and multi-instrumentalist Lianne La Havas. She's got a new EP out, titled after the track in the video above. She should have an album on the way this year, too.

On "Forget," I'm hearing a myriad of different sounds, not just outfits. A tinny guitar strums quietly under the first verse, backing up Lianne's smooth but powerful voice. Actually, her voice reminds me a bit of Little Dragon's frontwoman Yukimi Nagano's.

The hook here bursts with this rhythm that feels almost tribal, and that feeling is enforced by her multi-tracked background vocals.

Catchy, soulful, and groovin'. No complaints.
